The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies as of 25 May, 2018. From that date, this privacy legislation is effective throughout the European Union. The GDPR describes, among other things, what rights you have if your personal data is stored and processed by a company or organisation. 

These rights are briefly described below. If you want more information, you can find it on the website of the Dutch Data Protection Authority. This organisation monitors compliance with privacy laws. 

What personal data we store
We collect as little data as possible, i.e. strictly data that we really need to serve you well. In some cases, we need to collect additional information from you in order to comply with legal obligations.

How long we keep your personal data
We keep this data for as long as necessary for the purpose for which we use your data. And as long as the law requires us to keep your data.

Sharing your personal data with third parties
Veste Wonen and Ons Verbond will only share your data with third parties if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.

We have a legally valid processing agreement in place with companies that process your data on our behalf. In this agreement, we describe how these companies should process your data. This way we can guarantee that those parties also handle your data confidentially and with the utmost care. We are and remain responsible for the processing of your data.

Cookies or similar techniques that we use
This website uses functional, analytical and tracking cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored in the browser of your computer, tablet or smartphone when you first visit this website.

We use cookies with a purely technical functionality. These ensure that the website function properly and that your preferred settings are stored, for example. These cookies are also used to further optimise the use of the website. In addition, we place cookies that track your user behaviour on our website, so that we can make our website even more user-friendly. On your first visit to our website, we informed you about these cookies and asked you for permission to place them.

Send your request to info@upgradecampusut.nl and we will arrange it for you. If you send a copy of your proof of identity along with this request, we can be sure that the request has actually been made by you. In this copy, black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN).

Do you have a complaint? Then you can submit it to the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
