Festive completion of the Campus Upgrade Calslaan Oud

A great milestone for the UT campus: the seven student complexes at Calslaan have been renovated and made more sustainable. This marks the successful completion of phase 1 of the large-scale Campus Upgrade. The completion was celebrated together with students, construction consortium Ons Verbond, and Veste Wonen. The work on these residential buildings was carried out by Ter Steege Bouw Vastgoed Hardenberg and Bouwonderneming Oude Wolbers.

Resident support coordinator Maaike Strijker (Ons Verbond): “Thank you to all students for your commitment, involvement, and enthusiasm during the construction work.
Your flexibility and cooperation have contributed significantly to the success of this project.”

Calslaan Oud represents the first step in the Campus Upgrade: an ambitious program through which Veste Wonen, together with Ons Verbond, is creating modern, sustainable, and future-proof student housing on the UT campus. In the coming period, Dura Vermeer will complete the remaining complexes at Campuslaan Hoog. Trebbe is preparing the renovation works for the Piramides and Mastaba’s.

Step by step, the campus is gaining a renewed appearance and student housing is being prepared for the future. Together, we continue building a great place to live, study, and connect.
